-Development of a computer system using PICO
--PICO is 16-bit RISC processor developed in KEIO university for education.~
We will develop a simple computer system on DE2 FPGA board using~
PICO16a processor developed based on PICO16 and used in~
Computer Organization and Design class in university of Aizu.~
~
DE2 has several I/O devices. ~
We will develop some I/O device controllers for PICO16a system,~
and some software that work on PICO16a system.~
~
For examples:~
(some of I/O device controller were already developed)~
VGA output (draw picture, develop basic video game, image processing)~
sound input/output (music player)~
~
PICO16a system was developed using Verilog-HDL, but I developed~
another PICO16a system using SFL for students who want to develop using SFL.
-Design of RSA encryption and decryption circuits
--This topic is a problem of Design wave design contest 2008.~
The most basic RSA encryption and decryption circuits can be designed~
using divider and multiplier.~
We will design RSA encryption and decryption circuits including~
divider and multiplier for practice logic design.~
~
In addition, you can implement RSA encryption and decryption circuits~
on FPGA using DE2 board.
-Cell programming using PS3
--Junior students of computer education lab. held journal club style lecture~
for cell programming.~
We will solve some exercise of cell programming using knowledge~
learned in journal club style lecture.~

Materials for cell programming exercise are available at~
~okuyama/pub/aizu_cell/exercise (ISTC account)~
