PICO processor is 16-bit RISC processor developed in KEIO university for education. We develop a simple computer system on DE2 FPGA board using PICO16a processor developed based on PICO16 processor and used in Computer Organization and Design class materials in university of Aizu.
DE2 has several I/O devices. We develop some I/O device controllers for PICO16a system, and some software that work on PICO16a system.
Example subjects: (some of I/O device controllers were already developed)
PICO16a system was written in Verilog-HDL, but I rewrote in SFL for students who want to study SFL.
