Start-up creation: Since 2001, twelve start-ups have been created based on CEA LIST technologies. Examples of the most recent technologies launched include multicore multiprocessors (Kalray), pedestrian detection systems for off-road vehicles and machines (ARcure) and non-destructive testing (Extende).

The latest crop of start-ups are aiming to develop augmented reality applications (DiotaSoft) and embedded systems performance and safety applications (Krono-Safe).
